We are thrilled to announce a concert of "Norsk Romantikk", a magical mid-winter evening warmed by the music of Norway's most important 19th & 20th century composers: Geirr Tveitt, Harald Sæverud, David Monrad Johansen and of course Edvard Grieg. We are excited to feature a young Norwegian pianist, Knut Erik Jensen. His San Diego concert is being sponsored by Valhall, House of Norway, The Norse Federation and Calvary Lutheran Church where the concert will take place. The Norwegian Embassy in Washington, D.C. is also promoting Knut-Erik's tour in the United States during January-April. This is an event you don't want to miss.
